My samsung rant fell in the water and i plugged it in the computer and othing happened?

what should i do?My samsung rant fell in the water and i plugged it in the computer and othing happened?
You phone is most likely dead. Open up where the battery is and there is a circle or square indicator. If it is pink or red then your phone is shot due to water damage, and you will just have to get a new phone. If it is white, or just has a couple of spots, then I would take it to where ever you got it from and have them fix it.My samsung rant fell in the water and i plugged it in the computer and othing happened?
What I would do is take a much as possible apart of the phone (battery out, cover off) and let it air dry for a few days. If there is a SIM or flash memory, take it out too.

If you're lucky, the phone will dry out. If not, you'll probably have to buy a new one. You might check to see if you have accident insurance on your phone plan or if you bought it on a charge card, if you have accident/loss insurance on purchases...

Do NOT plug it in or turn it on unless you're absolutely sure it's dry. Shorting the battery or the components is a bad thing...

I've dealt with wet laptops at work and if an employee turns it on while wet, it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that the motherboard or a component with be shorted out. If they haven't turned it on, it's a 80% chance that after disassembly (keyboard, palm rest, hard drive, pci cards, DVD drive removed) and air drying for 3-4 days that the laptop will start working again.

However in the case of a phone, if you can't get it apart enough to get the water out you may be screwed...
Go to sprint and hope u have warrenty and then u will have to pay about 50 bucks to 100 bucks i had to on my blackberry but u wont get it for free and then u get a new phone
