And no other carriers have phones set up like that?

AT%26amp;T has the pantech matrix and duo but those both slide 2 ways and they are very thick because of it...Why does sprint have the lg rumor and the samsung rant?

Because sprint doesnt have a lot of texting phones and they need something new to show off-its kind of like asking why does Verizon have the Glide and the Voyager. They're basically the same thing, just a different manufacturer and they need something fresh and new.
i have a the rumor. there exactly the same except the glossy part of the screen goes down further on the rant then the rumor. i dont know. maybe , they think their doing like an ';evny'; and then ';envy 2'; thing. who knows? but samsung is a copy of lg rumor.
Doesn't matter the Rumor is a bad phone, I've heard many complaints of it! And Sprint is the worse plan ever, I hated it so much.
