Actually, general misbehavior on the part of one particular party accounts for a big reason why independents have joined the other party in droves, and even members are not willing to admit they belong. I do care that my President is a buffoon.

I do care that my President is doing things I KNOW to be harmful to the citizens of the United States.

I will add though, emphatic discussions that are sometimes referred to as rants, if about political direction or political philosophy may at least move someone off a stuck viewpoint.


At least I hope so. Some people are stuck in such a tiny spot that I believe they have tunnel vision or are religiously fanatical regarding their myopic vision of reality.
I don`t think the majority of people here think they will change anybodies mind. I usually reply to questions that seem obviously wrong or one sided and try to give them a differing point of view, but not to change their minds. It pays to participate in this forum to see differing opinions about different issues that affect us.

I love you. The word of the day is ';education';. Asking people to learn about socialism and marxist in history books rather than from opinion related musings is like asking people to go against all their morals and preconceived beliefs.

Of course not but it is soooo funny to read how freaked out the libs get just because somebody has a different opinion or when they are confronted with real facts.
I'm pretty sure that this is opposite of the goal when logging on to Y!A Politics. People just need to bounce their ideas into a public form where it will be critically analyzed, serious or not.
