Why do rightwingers rant on about kids getting free lunch or SCHIP but not a peep about Madoff and his type?

I've been wondering this, I like to think that rightwing conservatives don't approve of this, but then you don't really hear them saying so. You didn't hear it with Enron either, and that worries me a little. It's starting to look like, even though we have this social dogma of hard work and perseverance, integrity, that it is acceptable if you're an executive at a company, to cheat people, and set company policy that only benefits yourself.Why do rightwingers rant on about kids getting free lunch or SCHIP but not a peep about Madoff and his type?
Madoff is a criminal. He was caught and he deserves to be jailed for the rest of his life. All his possessions should be stripped, from him and his wife, since they are all ill-gotten gains.





As for school lunch, I don't recall hearing any rightwingers say much of anything about it. It seems to be one of the few things public schools do right.





Regarding SCHIP, the problem was not that it covered poor children, but that the Democrats expanded the coverage to people with incomes many times the poverty level (i.e. who could afford insurance on their own) and it expanded the coverage to ';children'; who were into their 20's.





Of course, we could also argue about the lack of Constitutional authorization for federal government outlays on school lunches or SCHIP, and we would correctly point out that there is no such power given to the federal government. But I don't think you leftists really care that much for following the Constitution.Why do rightwingers rant on about kids getting free lunch or SCHIP but not a peep about Madoff and his type?
Because they're treasonous scum. They used Supply Side Economics, on a global scale, to give our Independence away. They are contemptuous, unAmerican scum. And greedy beyond comprehension.





First they ship all our industries overseas (last time I looked our trade deficit was over $800,000,000,000). We now import oil and everything else. And it isn't as though American factories are still operating and competing with importers. The fact is those factories are gone.





Then they call anyone, who is unemployed as a result of their trickle down economics, lazy, blood suckers and have absolutely not intention of helping the hard working Americans whose jobs were given away by them.





They're way would result in feudalism. They think the poor would simply resort to begging them in the streets. They forget that those newly poor, were once the greatest workforce on the planet. And that workforce is going to wake up and recognize that the, so called conservative, republicans simply gave their independence away.





Well there is nothing conservative about giving the independence of the USA away. And there is going to be hell to pay.
I am mad as hell about both of them.

As far as SCHIP goes 26 years old is not a child by any stretch of the imagination and 83,000.00 a year income is not low income.


Another thing to think about is will SCHIP be based on A.G.I. if it is then a family with kids would be eligible at over 100,000.00 gross income.





One other thing is, the worlds largest ponzie scheme is the Social Security System.
I don't think anyone would deny a kid who needs free lunch, free lunch. And if they aren't saying anything about madoff isn't that what you wanted, the rich to get burned. He burned them, are you happy?
