Barack Obama: Admitted Pot and Cocaine use in his book, thereby profiting from it and setting a bad example.


Rush Limbaugh: Became addicted to prescription pain medication and checked himself into rehab. No glory, no profit, just responsibility.


George W. Bush: Had a DWI, quit drinking entirely, was the physically healthiest President EVER, accusations made about drug use but never proven.


Republicans are not ranting ';about Obama being a 'pill popping' President,'; they are only pointing out what the President admitted to HIMSELF, and making the analogy that if Rush (who is now pain-killer free and has been for years) is accused of being a drug addict, then Obama (who, with the exception of cigarettes has been assumed to be drug free) is also one.


Simple logic for the un-clouded mind.
Are you telling me Democrats didn't *rant* about personal failures of Bush %26amp; Cheney. The base of both parities take cheap shots, often irrational / illogical, to make themselves feel better (and often because they don't have the intelligence to come out with a logical, reasoned response to why they are against a Republican / Democrat).





Than there are also the trolls that simple do it because it causes their political opponents to foam at the mouth in frustration %26amp; anger.
I've never heard anyone call Obama a ';pill popping'; President. But it is reasonable that the former drug habits of the PRESIDENT of the United States be scrutinized. Vindicating a private citizen because you disagree with his political view is totally different.





Notice I said President (Bush was validly subject to scrutiny too). Don't gt all in a puff because you think everyone is a party-obsessed dope.

I am a strong conservative and I don't make fun of him for doing drugs. I may not like him but I wouldn't make fun of him for that. George W. Bush used to do drugs too and so did Bill Clinton.
I bet Obama could pass a drug test today.

I do not care about the mistakes he made in the past, I am worried about the mistakes he is making in the present.
