My auto insurance rant out December 18th. I plan on getting it 26th yet I need to know if I can drive 2morro

My insurance ran out Dec 18th. I plan on getting it ASAP and already have the plan set out but I don't have it yet and have to drive into work on the 25th. Do I have a grace period? Thanks so much!My auto insurance rant out December 18th. I plan on getting it 26th yet I need to know if I can drive 2morro
Depends where you live, all states do not require you to have insurance. Of course if you do drive without it and get in an accident you are screwed. The chose is yours, drive without it and risk getting in an accident and having to pay for everything, or find an alternate mode of transportation for 1 day. Car pooling or a bus ride will be a lot cheaper than paying for an accident. There are no grace periods in insurance. My auto insurance rant out December 18th. No grace period at all. Get somebody to drive you. The ticket for not having insurance is over $500. It's not worth it.
NO grace period
Nope. No grace period.
No.

If your policy expired on 12/18/07 - then there is no coverage past 12/18. If you drive before you purchase an insurance policy - you are driving uninsured and putting the rest of the public and your financial future at risk.
Well, if your state requires you to carry auto insurance, you can't drive legally. There is no grace period. If you crack up the car, no one will pay except you.
