I believe the media to be an agent provocateur and/or co-conspirator of the ';Establishment.'; It is, as Frank Zappa asserted, ';The tool of the government...'; Whether that government be Republican or Democratic in fundamental ideology matters not, because both ';Establishment'; parties raise enormous revenue, most of which goes directly to the media conspirators!If The Media Is Liberal, Why Do They Allow Conservative Rant?

the media = too big a term to really make one generalization about it. other than to say the media is diverse and varied. it is easy to see why some would feel mainstream media follows establishment rules, that may very well be because it is a business and business tries to make money and stay in business. it does not try to cause trouble and bring the system down. that would be the job of change agents.
